won "Blues Artist of the Year-2002" on WYCE, Grand Rapids,
MI. Mulebone UK has met with rave reviews from their native New York,
to Nashville and the Midwest. We might just be on VH1 this spring…we’ll

About "MULEBONE" the first CD: “Mulebone” captures
Hugh and John’s stripped-down vibe on CD. The result is a record
as simple as it is inspiring. It’s a collection of brilliantly
played traditionals, delivering an unforgettable tour of the Piedmont
and Delta blues sound. The CD charted in the top 100 on the "Americana
Roots" chart for National radio airplay as reported by the Album
Network, and was completely sold out within the first year.

an ongoing experiment in Progressive–Retro–Groove–Blues.
More than an off-shoot of Mulebone UK, we've been known to sing in
3-part harmony, play 30 minute songs, and even slip
into trance. We play the Ear Inn the last Wednesday of every month
as well as ongoing shows at the Rodeo Bar in NYC. Come check us out! |
